Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical management of hospital installation projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Develop and enforce policies for the maintenance and security of physical and digital infrastructure within healthcare environments.
• Spearhead the design and setup of a new cloud infrastructure, optimizing for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Oversee the deployment of cloud services and solutions, ensuring they align with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards.
• Provide strategic direction and support for service and operational teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure and operations with overall business strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within service, infrastructure or operations, preferably in the healthcare or medtech industry.
• Deep understanding of healthcare IT requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant regulations.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and services, bonus for certifications in AWS, OTC, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform preferred.
• Strong background in network architecture, data center operations, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects to successful completion.
• Fluent German.
