Lead Developer (m/f/d)

On behalf of Our Client, Scalors GmbH is looking for Lead Developer to join one of the leading ticketing company in Germany.

Our Client started as a web application to enable event organizers to hold live events. Today, it is one of the leading ticketing companies in Germany. More than 7,000 event organizers from the areas of concerts, sports, theater, tourism, tours, and trade fairs, 3,200 booking offices, and millions of ticket customers trust them.
They are specialists in ticketing, marketing, software development, e-commerce, CRM, and social media, with an outstanding network in the entertainment industry. They are constantly developing our software products and implementing new ideas to realize our goal and that of the event organizers: Selling more tickets with less effort.

Responsibilities:

• Within a cross-functional development team, your role involves advancing our comprehensive ticketing software, playing a direct role in the company’s success.
• Beyond enhancing features, you’ll focus on refining the technical foundation and actively contribute to transitioning from a monolithic structure to a diversified system landscape.
• Expect daily tasks involving technical planning, implementation, and automated testing.
• Your wealth of experience is shared with teammates, fostering mutual development and process improvement.
• Throughout this journey, you’ll receive support from People Leads and architects.

Requirements:

• In addition to possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in web-based software development, having a degree in computer science would be an ideal qualification.
• Mere ticket processing doesn’t suffice for you – you prioritize creating excellent, secure software that brings satisfaction to all stakeholders, and you are willing to go the extra mile to achieve this.
• Your expertise lies in using at least one object-oriented programming language, with a preference for PHP. Familiarity with the Symfony Framework is highly beneficial, along with proficiency in MySQL, AWS, and JavaScript/TypeScript with React.
• You value clean code, automated testing, static code analysis, the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, and adept use of issue trackers and Git. Your strengths extend to both analysis and conceptualization, where you thrive on discussing optimal solutions and executing them meticulously.
• Effective communication with team members, other development teams, and stakeholders brings you satisfaction. Internal presentations pose no challenge for you. Continuous learning is ingrained in your work ethic. With your knowledge, you can offer creative solutions beyond the conventional.
• You find joy in collaborating within agile development processes. Fluency in German, coupled with a good command of English, completes your skill set.
