Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, support, and maintenance of an SAP HANA database landscape for an internationally operating wholesaler
• Implementation of backup procedures, further development of the data backup concept, documentation of recovery procedures, and execution of disaster recovery measures
• Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of incidents within the SAP HANA environment
• Performance analysis and development of strategies for service improvement
• Proactive monitoring using tools such as SAP HANA Cockpit, Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, etc.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the installation and maintenance of SAP HANA databases and SAP HANA high-availability solutions
• Extensive knowledge of SAP HANA database system administration, as well as SQL knowledge and initial experience with tools such as CDS Views and AMDP
• Knowledge of SAP Basis administration is an advantage
• Experience in the administration of Linux operating systems
