DevOps Engineer · IT Recruiting

Senior DevOps engineers who make releases predictable and infrastructure manageable

When deployments stall, environments drift apart and operational knowledge sits with a few people, you are usually missing senior DevOps expertise. We introduce senior profiles for AWS and Azure with more than 10 years of experience, vetted by our recruiting team, which has been with us from day one. Suitable profiles are ready in days, not months, and a start is possible from one week after approval.

Sample profiles from our network

AWS & multi-cloud

Sample profile: Senior DevOps Engineer with AWS focus

16 years of experience in systems and DevOps engineering. Runs production platforms on AWS (EKS, Lambda, serverless) and has owned Kubernetes environments on Azure (AKS). Experience with big data clusters (EMR), disaster recovery and GPU infrastructure for AI models. Focus: Kubernetes/Helm, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Prometheus/Grafana.

Azure & Microsoft stack

Sample profile: Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure focus

17 years in IT infrastructure, 9 of them as a DevOps engineer. Builds CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML) and Jenkins, provisions Azure infrastructure with Terraform and PowerShell DSC and hardens the security of Azure environments. Deep Microsoft know-how from Active Directory to Entra ID. Focus: AKS, Azure API Management, Terraform, PowerShell.

What does a DevOps engineer do?

A DevOps engineer makes sure software moves from commit to production quickly, securely and reproducibly. Running reliably once it is there. That includes CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, monitoring and automating recurring operational tasks.

Senior DevOps engineers add experience you can't learn from tutorials: planning high availability, implementing disaster recovery, keeping cloud costs in check and establishing standards a growing team actually follows.

Core tasks of a DevOps engineer

CI/CD pipelines

Automates build, test and deployment with GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or Jenkins. For short release cycles without manual steps.

Infrastructure as code

Describes cloud resources with Terraform, CloudFormation or PowerShell DSC: versioned, reviewable and reproducible.

Kubernetes & containers

Runs workloads on EKS, AKS or on-premise and packages applications with Docker and Helm.

Monitoring & incident response

Sets up metrics, logs and alerts with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Azure Monitor to shorten troubleshooting.

Security & compliance

Consistently implements IAM, key vaults, network segmentation and private endpoints and hardens pipelines and cloud environments.

High availability & disaster recovery

Plans autoscaling, backups and recovery processes and documents them so your team can run them.

When you need a senior DevOps engineer

Releases take days instead of hours because every step has to be triggered by hand. Test, staging and production keep drifting apart, so errors only surface in production. And knowledge about servers, pipelines and access often sits with a single person, whose vacation or departure becomes an operational risk.

At the latest when a cloud migration or a move to Kubernetes is coming up, or security and audit requirements call for traceable, automated processes, improvisation is no longer enough. These are exactly the situations in which companies contact us.

How the hiring process works

Step 1

Intro call (30 minutes)

You tell us about your project, tech stack and timeline. Together we sharpen the role profile.

Step 2

Direct interviews

You talk directly to the shortlisted candidates, no lengthy pre-screening loops.

Step 3

Contract & start

Once you approve, we handle contract and onboarding. The start is possible from one week.

Frequently asked questions

The DevOps engineer automates build, deployment and operations and keeps the platform stable day to day. The cloud architect owns the fundamental architecture decisions. Senior DevOps engineers often cover both. For example when designing hybrid cloud environments.
