Lead Developer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• As a Lead Developer within a cross-functional development team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our comprehensive ticketing software, contributing directly to the company’s success.
• Your responsibilities will include enhancing features, refining technical foundations, and facilitating the transition from a monolithic structure to a diversified system landscape.
• Day-to-day tasks will involve technical planning, implementation, and automated testing, while also sharing your wealth of experience with teammates to foster mutual development and process improvement.
• Throughout your journey, you will receive support from People Leads and architects to ensure success.

Requirements:

• You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in web-based software development, ideally complemented by a degree in computer science.
• You prioritize creating excellent, secure software that brings satisfaction to stakeholders, demonstrating a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve this goal.
• Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language is required, with a preference for PHP. Familiarity with the Symfony Framework, along with proficiency in MySQL, AWS, and JavaScript/TypeScript with React, is highly beneficial.
• You value clean code, automated testing, static code analysis, and adept use of CI/CD pipelines, issue trackers, and Git. Your strengths extend to analysis and conceptualization, where you excel in discussing optimal solutions and executing them meticulously.
• Effective communication and continuous learning are integral to your work ethic, allowing you to offer creative solutions beyond the conventional. Fluency in German and a good command of English complete your skill set.
